SNOHOMISH — The death of a woman whose body was found in a Snohomish-area retention pond last week has been ruled a suicide.
She was 66 and drowned, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Her car was parked nearby and left unlocked with her keys and identification inside.
Detectives have closed the case, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said Tuesday.
The body was found April 22 near the 4500 block of Lowell Snohomish River Road.
