YAKIMA — Yakima police say a 19-year-old woman died after being shot during a confrontation in Yakima Friday night.
Investigators say the woman was walking with three friends when they got into a confrontation with another group of three or four people. After the confrontation, a person in the second group shot at the victim’s group. The suspects then fled on foot. The wounded woman was taken to a hospital, where she died.
Yakima police continue their investigation.
The woman was not identified.
