VANCOUVER, Wash. — A Hazel Dell woman who told The Columbian on Monday that she was grieving the loss of her dog and cat in a house fire was arrested Tuesday and accused of setting the fire.
The 36-year-old, Tricia Dezellem, is jailed in Vancouver for investigation of arson.
Firefighters say the blaze caused $100,000 damage to the house and contents.
Investigators aren’t saying what may have been the motive. The family has renter’s insurance.
