MUKILTEO — A woman attacked her husband with a knife and stabbed herself Sunday at a Mukilteo home, according to a police report.
The wife, 34, had been arguing with her husband about money and a divorce, according to her statements to police. Four children — ages 2 to 13 — were in the home around 3 p.m. when she threatened to kill herself and stabbed herself in the stomach.
She swung the knife at her husband, threw it at him and stabbed him in the stomach, police wrote. The wound was superficial. Police arrived in the 4400 block of 80th Street SW, to find she no longer had a knife.
The man recorded the fight on video. The husband and wife did not need medical treatment at a hospital, according to Mukilteo police.
Police arrested the woman for investigation of first-degree assault.
