REDMOND — A woman has been booked into the King County jail for investigation of murder after King County deputies responded to her home for an aid call and found her 16-month-old son dead.
Sgt. Jason Houck says deputies came to her home in unincorporated eastern King County on Saturday afternoon after a man called 911 to report that his son was not breathing. Attempts to revive the infant were unsuccessful.
Houck says that during the investigation, deputies found evidence that the mother may have caused the injuries that led to the boy’s death.
