EVERETT – A woman wanted in connection with a shooting last month on Linden Avenue was arrested Monday.
The woman, 33, was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree assault. A man was arrested earlier this month also in connection with the shooting.
The incident happened Oct. 19 in the 700 block of Linden Avenue. A 43-year-old man who was visiting there was bound and shot in the throat, according to Everett police. The man is expected to recover from his injuries.
Marysville: Shooting victim identified
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner on Monday identified a 35-year-old shooting victim as Simeon Eugene Whitney of Wapato.
Whitney died of a gunshot. His death was ruled a homicide.
The shooting was reported shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday at Kuhnles Tavern. Marysville police said Whitney was arguing with another man before being shot several times.
He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he later died.
Police described the suspect as a white male in his mid-40s, who is approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 140 pounds. He has dark hair in a bowl cut and a mustache. He is believed to have fled in a small white pickup, and may have been injured in the argument.

Snohomish: Accidental fire damages home
A chimney fire ripped through part of a house at 525 Avenue B on Monday evening, displacing the family who lived there, Snohomish fire Battalion Chief Mike Gatterman said. An estimate of the damage was not available. The fire was accidental.
