Woman crossing street hit by car

MARYSVILLE — A woman crossing the street was hit by a car Saturday night and suffered injuries.

A woman in her 20s was crossing the roadway in the 8900 block of Quil Ceda Boulevard around 8:30 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle, Marysville Fire Department Battalion Chief Bob Magee said.

She was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening.

There is no crosswalk where the woman was trying to cross, Magee said.

The incident is under investigation.
