SEATTLE — Seattle police say a woman accused of starting her morning by drinking a bottle of wine inside a north Seattle grocery store, then eating fistfuls of one of the store’s blueberry pies, has been arrested.
On their website, police say a grocery employee asked the woman to leave after spotting her about 6 a.m. one day earlier this week, drinking a bottle of wine in the store. Instead, the worker says the woman drank the rest of the bottle, then selected a blueberry pie from the store’s bakery. Employees say the woman ate fistfuls of pie in the store’s coffee shop before tossing the rest of the dessert and walking out.
Police arrested the intoxicated 48-year-old woman for investigation of theft and trespassing.
