OLYMPIA — Police in Olympia say a woman who was cleaning her garage reported finding a possible pipe bomb.
Lt. Ray Holmes said Monday that the object was about 8 inches long with caps on both ends and a fuse. An Olympia officer who went to look at the device said it resembled a pipe bomb.
It was secured and the Washington State Patrol bomb squad went to the home and took the device to dispose of it.
Holmes says there’s no indication who might have put it there or when.
