MARYSVILLE — A woman suffered critical injuries after a train hit her Tuesday night.
The woman, described as in her 50s, was on the tracks near 94th Place NE and State Avenue around 5:40 p.m. when the train struck her, Marysville Fire District spokeswoman Christie Veley said. Responders took her to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
It was unclear why she was on the tracks or if she was at a marked crossing, the nearest of which are at 92nd Street NE or north of the Grocery Outlet parking lot.
