EVERETT — A woman was shot Friday morning outside a 7-Eleven in south Everett, according to police.
An argument between two groups of people preceded the shooting around 5 a.m. in the 11800 block of Airport Road, said Everett police officer Kerby Duncan.
As one group left in a vehicle, they fired at the other group’s car, hitting a passenger, Duncan said.
She was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. She was expected to survive her injuries.
No arrests had been made as of Friday afternoon. Detectives were still investigating and working to identify suspects.
The relationship between the groups of people was unclear, Duncan said.
