SNOHOMISH – A Snohomish woman was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Monday following a two-vehicle crash in the 14900 block of Three Lakes Road.
The woman, 48, was eastbound on Three Lakes Road about 2 p.m. when the car she was driving reportedly crossed the centerline and crashed head-on into a pickup truck, Snohomish County sheriff’s deputy Rich Niebusch said.
The extent of the woman’s injuries were unknown Monday.
The pickup’s driver, a 38-year-old Lake Stevens man, was not injured in the crash, Niebusch said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Lynnwood: Man killed in accident is identified
A man killed in an accident at Highway 525 and Lincoln Way near Lynnwood on Sunday has been identified as Craig Loveless, 45, of Everett.
The State Patrol said the accident occurred when Loveless, driving a 1993 Ford Taurus wagon, pulled out onto the highway from westbound Lincoln Way against a red light.
The car was struck broadside by a northbound bus carrying military reserve personnel. The car then ran into another car waiting to turn left onto Lincoln Way, according to the State Patrol.
A 40-year-old Mukilteo man riding with Loveless and another passenger were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center after the 11:20 a.m. crash, according to the State Patrol. Information on their condition was not available.
The driver of the bus, a 41-year-old Marysville man, and a 57-year-old Mukilteo man driving the other car were both treated for minor injuries and released at the scene.
