Woman injured in accident with PUD line truck

SNOHOMISH – A woman was airlifted to a Seattle hospital this morning after a three vehicle crash near Snohomish involving a PUD line truck.

The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Dubuque Road and Creswell Road, Snohomish County Fire District 4 Battalion Chief John Hinchcliff said.

The injured woman was in a small passenger car, Hinchcliff said. She was flown by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Her condition was not immediately available.

A PUD boom truck and a dump truck and trailer also were involved in the crash, Hinchcliff said. The PUD driver was taken to Valley Medical Center with serious head injuries. The dump truck driver was uninjured.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
