EVERETT — A 21-year-old woman was expected to recover after reportedly attempting suicide Monday at the Snohomish County Jail.
The woman jumped from a second-story landing to the floor below about 5:15 p.m., Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
Medical crews were called, and the woman was taken to a local hospital for a medical evaluation, Ireton said.
The woman’s injuries weren’t believed to be life-threatening. Additional details were not immediately available.
