EVERETT – A woman was taken to a Seattle hospital Thursday with serious injuries to her leg and foot after a car pinned her against the wall in a drugstore parking lot, officials said.
The woman, who is in her late 50s or early 60s, was shopping at the Rite-Aid in the 4900 block of Evergreen Way about 1 p.m., said Everett Fire Battalion Chief Steve Parker.
An elderly woman hit the accelerator by mistake and slammed the woman into a flower stand and the building’s wall, he said.
The injured woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, he said.
