OLYMPIA — A woman accused of stabbing a mental health counselor to death in Olympia is jailed for investigation of domestic violence murder.
The Olympian reported bail for 27-year-old Lia Yera Tricomo was set Wednesday at $1 million.
She’s accused of killing 58-year-old John P. Alkins on Monday night at his home.
Investigators say Alkins is a former counselor at Behavioral Health Resources where Tricomo is known to the staff and called to say she had killed someone.
Deputy prosecutor Jennifer Lord said that Alkins was tied up and killed after some sexual activity.
