SNOHOMISH — A woman was taken to a hospital with a possible broken leg after her boyfriend allegedly hit her with a car Wednesday night.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office arrested the Issaquah man, 54, for investigation of vehicular assault.
Deputies arrived at the 6900 block of 135th Street SE around 11 p.m. They found the 54-year-old woman being tended to on a stretcher. According to court documents, the man told deputies a text from an ex-girlfriend prompted the woman to become angry, which led to them arguing in the car.
In the deputy’s report, the man said when they arrived at the home, she got out and he put his car in reverse with the wheel all the way to the left. She reportedly was hit by the side of the car and fell.
The boyfriend admitted to drinking a martini and part of a beer before driving, and he exhibited signs of inebriation, according to the deputy’s report.
