EVERETT — A woman was shot multiple times early Saturday after what detectives believe was a domestic dispute.
Police about 4:30 a.m. received reports of shots fired at an apartment complex on 112th Street SW, Snohomish County sheriff’s Lt. Rodney Rochon said. Deputies rushed to the scene.
While they were on the way, deputies received additional reports that a woman covered in blood was knocking on doors and asking for help, Rochon said. They found a woman, 37, who had been shot several times.
Medics raced the woman to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in critical but stable condition, Rochon said.
A 38-year-old man was arrested at the complex. Rochon said investigators believe he is the woman’s boyfriend.
The man is a suspect in the case, Rochon said.
Detectives from sheriff’s major crimes unit are investigating the incident.
