SEATTLE — The King County sheriff’s office says a 23-year-old woman was shot to death early Tuesday on a street in the White Center community south of Seattle.
Deputies had responded to a report of a fight between a small group of women and three men. The women said the fight was over and the men had left, but deputies remained in the area and heard gunshots just before 1 a.m.
Witnesses said two of the men had returned and one fired at the victim.
The gang unit is helping detectives look for the suspects.
