Woman’s body found in clothing donation bin in Everett

EVERETT — A woman’s body was found Sunday in a clothing donation bin in unincorporated south Everett.

Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies don’t believe the woman’s death is suspicious. There were no signs of trauma and evidence indicates that she was alive when she went into the bin, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

A man had been picking up the donated clothing around 10:40 p.m. when he found the woman. The collection bin was located at an apartment complex in the 900 block of 132nd Street SW.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner expects to release the woman’s identity, as well as the cause and manner of death.
