PORT TOWNSEND — A badly decomposed body has been recovered from the water near Port Townsend.
Police and firefighters told KIRO-TV the body is that of a woman. It’s not known how the woman might have ended up in the water.
The Port Townsend Fire Department said it received a 911 call Wednesday afternoon from people who were taking pictures on a beach and spotted the body.
