TACOMA — Authorities are investigating after a woman’s body was found on an overpass near State Route 16 in Tacoma.
The Washington State Patrol say troopers were initially called to investigate a possible hit and run late Tuesday.
Patrol spokesman Trooper Todd Bartolac says the woman’s injuries may not be consistent with a car crash so detectives are also looking at other possible causes.
Tacoma police also are investigating.
