Former WWE wrestler and World Heavyweight Champion Goldberg (whose first name is Bill) will make his prime time TV debut on NBC’s “Law &Order: Special Victims Unit” at 10 p.m. Feb. 6 on KING, Channel 5.
NBC announced that Goldberg will guest star as Cupid, a crazed convict. In the episode, an anonymous envelope appears at the precinct and the detectives use it to pick up the trail of a pornographer. The highlight is when Goldberg tosses Detective Elliot Stabler (played by Chris Meloni) through a window. No joke.
Goldberg has a family connection to the show, NBC says. His first cousin is “SVU” executive producer and head writer Neal Baer, M.D., who says “I’ve waited years to work with my cousin Bill, and the cast and I were not disappointed. Now I know who to go to when I need an enforcer.”
