WSU event in Everett Wednesday night canceled

Just a quick note: the event planned for tonight with WSU President Elson Floyd has been canceled due to the weather. A new date will be set, according to a notice sent out by WSU organizers.

Floyd had planned to attend a reception in Everett to discuss and answer questions on expanding the research university’s presence in the city. Read Jerry Cornfield’s story about it here.

A new date for the university president to discuss pending legislation and their interest in Everett and Snohomish Coutny will be announced in coming days. Stay tuned
