PULLMAN — Washington State University regents have approved spending more than $54 million to improve dorms on the Pullman campus.
The Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce reports that upgrades approved last week will spend nearly $33 million for renovation and an addition to Waller Hall that will increase the number of beds from 145 to as many as 305.
And nearly $22 million will be spent on improvements that will link Duncan Dunn and Community Hall into a single dorm. The work will increase capacity from about 200 to about 250 beds.
WSU has 21 residence halls that house 4,500 students.
