LAKE STEVENS — An injured teenage male with a faint pulse was discovered under the Pilchuck River bridge in a rural neighborhood southwest of Lake Stevens late Saturday afternoon.
Someone out walking in the area spotted a body under the bridge in the 14300 block of OK Mill Road, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies dispatched shortly after 6 p.m. were only able to find a weak pulse in the victim. They would not discuss his injuries but said he had obviously suffered some sort of trauma.
Someone may have intentionally left the man there, said Jan Jorgensen, sheriff’s spokeswoman. The major crimes unit is investigating and trying to piece together what happened, she said.
Jorgensen said deputies had not definitely identified the victim as of Saturday night.
The victim was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His condition was unavailable late Saturday night.
Deputies ask anyone with information on the man or how he was injured to call the tip line at 425-388-3845.
