Zippy’s, which has moved twice in less than a year, is open again in Everett.
In fact, Cafe Zippy, which landed at 2811 Wetmore Ave. after an attempt to set up shop at 3231 Creatives on Broadway, is hosting Green Drinks from 5 to 7 p.m. this Wednesday, May 11.
Intrepid Zippy’s owner Marilyn Rosenberg has a new business partner, Mary Ellen Wood, and is now serving Stumptown roasted coffees.
Cafe Zippy, formerly Zippy’s Java Lounge, has the same feel of the old place at 1804 Hewiit Ave., Rosenberg said.
She opened the place April 1. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays and closed Mondays.
