Briana Hallsted has been named general manager of a new TurnKey Vacation Rental office on Camano Island that includes rental properties in the Puget Sound region. Hallsted has more than 15 years of experience in hotel and vacation rental operations and sales. The Internet-based rental company has 32 service areas across the United States.
Economic Alliance representatives attend Japanese aero conference
Representatives from Economic Alliance Snohomish County have gone to Japan for the Japan International Aerospace Exhibition and the Suwa Area Industrial Messe. The organization has appointments set up with several aerospace companies that are looking to expand in or have an American presence. Everett’s Fluke Connect Assets honored for app
Fluke Connect Assets has won the Gold Award in the Apps for Engineers category in the Consulting-Specifying Engineering 2016 Product of the Year Awards. The awards recognize the best products in the HVAC, fire/life safety, electrical, and plumbing systems engineering markets. This is the 22nd honor for the Fluke Connect app and software that is designed to assist maintenance teams.
Haunted STEM to be held at EdCC
Edmonds Community College invites the community to visit the haunted STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) lab from 12 to 6 p.m. Oct. 28, in Monroe Hall, 6606 196th St. SW, Lynnwood. Witness safe explosive demonstrations and participate in hands-on activities. There will also be candy launches and vortex smoke rings. The event is free and open to the public. All ages welcome.
