JACKSONVILLE, Ore. — One man is dead and two people are hospitalized after overdosing on an unknown drug before a concert at the Britt Music & Arts Festival in Jacksonville.
KTVL-TV reported Friday that two separate calls were made for medical assistance Thursday night and one woman and two men were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The station said Jacksonville police believe the three people took the same drug.
The festival said the three people were together and told paramedics they took the drug before arriving.
The surviving individuals are recovering at Rogue Regional Medical Center.
The festival runs for three weeks in Jacksonville and features a wide variety of artists.
The overdoses happened during a performance by Rebelution, a California reggae group.
