Seattle police investigate body found in Green Lake

It might be a 20-year-old woman who was reportedly last seen kayaking on the lake July 4.

SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating whether a body recovered in Green Lake on Sunday morning is a kayaker who was reported missing on Friday.

KOMO-TV reported that police tweeted Friday that Taiga Hinckley, 20, was last seen kayaking July 4 at 10 p.m. at Green Lake.

The Seattle Police Department the body recovered in the lake Sunday has not yet been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
