WALLA WALLA — A Walla Walla couple has pleaded not guilty to killing a man by selling him the heroin that caused his overdose death.
The Union-Bulletin reported Wednesday that Amanda J. Geoghegan, 35, and Adam R. Sellers, 39, entered the pleas Monday to charges of controlled-substance homicide.
Their trials are scheduled for June 24.
The couple is charged in connection with the February 2018 death of Brandon Brown, 30.
Walla Walla police say Brown was found slumped over in his vehicle in the city around 3 p.m., but he had been dead for hours.
Police say Brown’s mother found texts with drug transaction information that named Geoghegan and Sellers.
Records say surveillance videos from nearby businesses also implicate the couple.
