Yacolt man dies after truck strikes tree

SEATTLE — Authorities say a 33-year-old Yacolt man has died after striking a tree with his pickup truck.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office says Roger Armstrong was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle crash on NE Lucia Falls Road on Sunday morning.

Armstrong was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Authorities say Armstrong was on his way to work when he drove off the north side of the road. They say Armstrong’s truck rolled, striking a tree.

The investigation of the crash continues.
