The cockles of my heart were warmed to read that the Snohomish County PUD’s $37 million computer program is working. I can go to bed knowing that the people whose power has been cut off will be able to read their notice in the flickering candle light as they huddle around it for warmth.
It has also come to my attention that I no longer need to worry about terrorists in Washington state. With our highways clogged, our schools bankrupt and electrical rates so high, no terrorist in his right mind would think of coming here, let alone wasting his time trying to disrupt our system.
How about contracting the Chinese people to run on a treadmill to generate electrical power? With their low labor costs, the PUD could run an electrical line from China and we would have reasonable energy prices. I won’t charge the PUD for my brainstorming … er … consulting.
God bless those who are leading us, for they need God’s help.
