My wife and I had the privilege of attending the dedication of the new Cavalero Mid-High School in the Lake Stevens School District. Having watched the evolution of this school from the heavily-supported enabling bond issue (the largest ever proposed by the District) through the design process for a state-of-the-art school, its ground-breaking and frenetic construction period, it was, for us, a deeply satisfying experience.
We congratulate the District Board and Administration in conceiving and planning this school, and architects NAC and their design team and Lydic Construction and their contractor group for bringing it into being on schedule and within budget, even under sharply rising costs and competition for materials. We especially share the pride and sense of adventure in education of Cavalero Principal John Gebert and his staff and students in their beautiful new learning environment.
