The classrooms of the Snohomish School District are once again quiet. Approximately 8,600 students have traveled its hallways, played on its playgrounds and, above all, embraced an opportunity to learn. I have been in these classrooms and have seen the effort it takes to provide a quality program. I would like to say thank you to all of the people who made it happen for our students: the teachers, staff and volunteers.
On June 8, 1894, there were 11 students in the first graduating class at Snohomish High School. This year, the high schools of the Snohomish School District graduated nearly 550 students. This year’s graduating class has continued a 107-year tradition of academic excellence by earning awards and accolades in numbers that are proportionately better than average. This could not happen without people such as these and the community that wholeheartedly supports them.
Thanks again.
