A story of hate – where is outrage?

Regarding last weekend’s shootings in Seattle: Where is the outrage? A Muslim man between the ages of 18 and 40, the typical terrorist that has attacked not only the Trade Center, but all of the other U.S. targets. He decides he is mad at Israel and proceeds to attempt to kill a number of innocent women at the Jewish Center. Duh! Not all the victims are Jewish, but he doesn’t really care. All he is interested in doing is killing Americans.

Do I hear outrage from the press here in Washington? Do I hear real outrage from the so-called Muslim community? Do I hear outrage from the Governor? No I don’t. What I hear is Mel Gibson is an anti-Semite and deserves to be punished for a drunken outburst and is immediately dropped from Disney and his career is probably over. Did he kill anyone? Did he wound anyone? No.

This is a major story of true hate and we get fewer headlines than the amount of stock money the Boeing employees are getting. If the shoe, or sandal was on the other foot, I wager the headlines would engulf the front page of publications like The Herald.
