Regarding the Saturday article, “Waste alleged in ferry system”:
“Alleged?” We have been getting reports from auditors for years about the waste and mismanagement of the ferry system. Then we hear from the long-time chair of the Senate Transportation Committee “…a lot of us have known for a long time there has been some abuses,” said Sen. Mary Margaret Haugen, D-Camano Island…” To fix these “abuses,” “we” have been waiting for what?
“We” get what we deserve! And “we” keep electing these incompetents.
And they are going to raise our taxes!
