I am an old, disabled vet. I have been camping and fishing Buck Creek for many, many years. That forest belongs just as much to me as to anyone else. Who are these people who are trying to restrict the use of that forest to just their groups?
In the Pacific Northwest, trees are a long-term crop. Cut one down and many more grow in the same space. The reason that road washed out is because it was not repaired properly. It should have been moved back into the woods away from that big bend in the river. Then people could enjoy a driver through the woods on the way up there.
Our forests are for everyone to enjoy — fishing, camping, driving through or hiking — not reserved for a few special groups. Put the road back in where it belongs and see how many more people use and enjoy the area; it is there for everyone’s use.
