I moved here from the East Coast 36 years ago. Ever since then I have subscribed to The Herald and start my day by reading the newspaper. But recently changes have been made by the paper which disappoint me. The page listing activities in the area, especially ones concerning seniors, is one of my favorites and would always get my attention. But what is happening to this page and why?
In recent weeks very few listings have appeared and instead several photographs that were not of great interest were run, and there was a sizable blank spot! I have been very active with the Everett Newcomers and always look for our notice. It seems to appear not very often any more. Why? Is it more important to how your readers a few photographs taken by other readers, rather than informing them of what is happening in our area? I would appreciate an explanation.
