In reference to the Dec 16 article that the fitness drive ignores persons over age 50, we would like to encourage people to join a water aerobics class. My husband and I have been doing so since retiring over four years ago. What great exercise, and it’s easy on the joints. But you needn’t be a senior to benefit from this type of exercise – we first started with Karen at the Forest Park Pool, then on to the Navy pool at Naval Station Everett with Marissa and now Jenny. What fabulous instructors each! So all you active duty and retired military persons and families, take advantage of this wonderful facility.
