Britain’s Prince Charles on Thursday christened the first steam locomotive built in England since the 1950s.

Charles then hurried off to help break ground for a new typewriter factory in Slough.

The Harlem Globetrotters clown around on the hardwood tonight and Sunday at Comcast Arena.

In related news, the Globies’ perennial patsy, the Washington Generals, knocked off the Oklahoma City Thunder 98-84 on Wednesday night.

Pending legislation would allow medical professionals other than medical doctors to recommend medical marijuana.

The concept isn’t really all that new. Anyone who remembers 1950s TV and magazine advertising knows that doctors back then recommended medical tobacco.
