On Sept. 4, I read a letter written by Kenneth Weigel about terrorists being madmen (“9-11 Aftermath: You can’t reason with madmen”). I agree that these jerks should be punished accordingly.
I do not agree with the author using the word “pagan” to describe their religion. Throughout history, all religion has used terror tactics to push their agenda. In the past, the religion I grew up with tortured and murdered people who did not believe. Believe it or not, I am a Catholic!
