Always defending all Democrats

Wow, the lefty Herald Editorial Board reacted fast and furiously when its pal Inslee got a needed slap-down by a bipartisan state Senate who fired Inslee’s non-responsive DOT Secretary. (Tuesday editorial, “Where accountability is lacking.”) And frightened his non-responsive Department of Corrections head into quitting before he was forced to answer more questions about releasing violent criminals early.

Not sure where the editorial outrage was when Obama unconstitutionally rammed Obamacare down our throats, or ordered the EPA to shut down most of our energy production because he hates coal almost as much as Inslee hates cars. The good news is Obama got slapped down by the Supreme Court Wednesday on his efforts to regulate coal emissions, which should hold until he’s history.

More good news is that the lines of responsibility clearly lead back to Inslee and he will have to answer to the voters this year for his socialist choices. Perhaps the best news is that the poor commuters who have to use I-405 to get to work may get some relief if this debacle creates a majority Republican Senate and a (bigger) majority in the House. If so, that might translate into saving the rest of the state a lot of grief if the Democrats are blocked from expanding their transportation model of extracting more money from the taxpayers and providing fewer lanes for most of us to travel on.
