Always great to see wonderful homes

It was so nice to open the paper Thursday morning and see the Home &Garden cover! I always look forward to The Herald’s coverage of the Monte Cristo Awards. It is so fun to see what our neighbors have done with their homes. I have always loved older homes no matter their condition. Each one is a diamond in the rough. It is great to walk or drive around Everett and see how families are transforming these pieces of history and taking them back to their origins or just giving them a “makeover.” Congratulations to all of the winners and thanks to The Herald for its great coverage and wonderful photos as well!
