Jan. 22 marked the 39th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion in all 50 states. Over 50 million unborn children have died at the hands of an abortionist since 1973. Women (and men) across America have suffered great physical, spiritual and emotional loss at the death of their children, learning that what they carried in their womb was not a “blob of cells,” but in fact their own infant child. How tragic and devastating.
America is waking up. The largest abortion provider in the country, Planned Parenthood, continues to close its doors, city after city. Here in Washington, three clinics have folded: in Forks, Oak Harbor and Silverdale. More will follow.
On Feb. 22, 40 Days for Life campaign in Everett starts it twice-annual 40 days of continued prayer, fasting, peaceful vigil and outreach to end abortion. Come pray with us. www.40daysforlife.com/everett.
