The gun control lobby has the same spiel nationwide; more regulations, restrictions, exorbitant taxes on guns and ammo, signs in windows, gun free zones, and on and on and on. Businesses will put signs in windows that will ban guns. One letter to the editor bemoaned that by being in Starbucks you could be standing next to someone carrying a weapon. Oh, the humanity! I feel confident that if I did, I wouldn’t lose an arm or leg or contract some catastrophic illness. Nor would he pull it out and shoot me in the head, unless of course I was a bad guy and deserved it.
All these politicians know that none of this will do anything to prevent gun violence, bad guys are bad guys and they don’t give a rip about any gun restrictions or signs in windows. These politicians aren’t that ignorant. It is to do only two things, 1) get the votes of all the gun haters and 2) get closer and closer to abolishing the 2nd Amendment and confiscation. That’s how they function, to put as much control on you as possible since they know what’s best for us because we can’t think for ourselves.
