I read where Starbucks, Walmart and other companies are taking extra steps to hire veterans and their family members.
I also read where our Gov. Inslee and our Washington state legislators have signed off on $8 billion-plus in tax breaks/incentives for the Boeing Co. to keep production work here, for their Puget Sound airplane factories.
Meanwhile, the Boeing Co. is laying off veterans … how many this year? I don’t know…
I only know of one … me.
Just sayin’.
