‘Applause’ section allows recognition

Many thanks to The Herald for the Applause and Winners pages in the paper. Our Everett branch of the American Association of University Women initiated a program this year to honor high school junior girls who excel in math, science and technology. We had a great time meeting the girls and their parents and awarding certificates. We consider the recognition in The Herald to be the culmination of a successful project.
