Why did we allow Gary Ridgeway(convicted of killing 49 women) to be able spend the rest of his life in prison, without receiving the death penalty, while Stanley “Tookie” Williams did get the death penalty? Tookie Williams killed fewer people than Gary Ridgeway and his punishment was the harsher of the two. Murder is murder. Apparently, it seems that the number of victims don’t matter. In my opinion, I think that if the death penalty cannot be applied equally then we shouldn’t have it all.
