At least Sid Schwab served, saved lives during Vietnam War

I see someone didn’t like some things Herald columnist Sid Schwab wrote recently.

Schwab served in Vietnam as a surgeon and I am sure saved many lives. During the same war Trump used his wealth and privilege to stay in Manhattan where he was safe. I have read that Trump doesn’t even remember which foot had the supposed bone spur that saved his bacon.

I don’t always agree with every column I read, but I will defend anyone’s right to an opinion.

One more thing, if you ask any Vietnam vet they will tell you there was no safe area there during the War. Sid Schwab not only saved lives, but he was at times in danger himself.
